Hello Le Roi Daniels Families, 

Well, we have finished our first couple of days and it has been wonderful to see all the children, hear about their summer holidays and begin to form new relationships in each classroom!

We do have a couple of important reminders for you so please be sure to read the email below and mark your calendars.

1) No School on Monday due to the Labour Day Holiday. Enjoy the long weekend with your family.

2) Please take a moment to look at the September Newsletter and Calendar as there is lots of exciting information and activities happening already!

3) Please remember to join the Parent information meeting ONLINE on Thursday September 7th at 6:00pm or 6:30pm (duplicate sessions in case you have more than 1 child at LRD).  You must use the login information provided to you at the ice cream social or staggered Kindergarten meetings on the pink sheets.  We are looking forward to meeting with you online. 

4) As the school year is beginning, we are getting to know your children and discover all their learning needs.  For those parents who have children on an IPP (you would already know if you applies to you), we will be connecting with you before Thanksgiving to share the new plan for the school year.  Thank you for your patience in this process as teachers get to know each of their students. 

5) Please remember to complete all welcome back forms that were given to you at the ice cream social as well as the online forms in PowerSchool for Tuesday September 5.  We appreciate you completing these quickly and sharing them with us.
