Good morning Parents of Le Roi Daniels, As we are heading into the next week, I am sure you have all heard that strike action is beginning on Monday, October 6. Due to this job action, there are a few important information items that you need to be aware of: 1) The school is closed to students and therefore please be sure to keep your children home until further notice (hopefully it won't be long!) 2) The school office is open so if you need help with bussing, fee payments or other CBE account questions, please feel free to call the school. 3) Your teachers will have posted the next week's homework for you and your child to work on during the week of Oct 6-10 and can be submitted onto your child's Google classroom account. You will also have continued use of Mathletics for extra practice and math games. However, your child's teacher will NOT have access to Google classroom or their emails during this time so they will not be able to communicate with you regarding any questions or concerns you may have. 4) As there is uncertainty regarding the length of the strike, ALL field trips and special events have been cancelled for the month of October! If you received fieldtrip forms or offered to volunteer, we will be in contact with you when we return to let you know when the new dates have been decided. All events will happen in the future and this is just a postponement. We thank you for your understanding and support.

If you already have done so, we will work with Healthy Hunger to get a refund/credit for you. * SCHOOL COUNCIL meeting is CANCELLED - however CASINO will still occur so we still need volunteers. 7) Despite the strike, our CASINO event is still happening and we need volunteers still.
