Dear Parents,

Fingers crossed the sun comes out again this weekend!  We have appreciated the much needed rain but, it would be even better if it only happened at night so we can enjoy some warm sun. J

It is hard to believe we are in the last week of May and we are looking forward to finishing up the year with some exciting events and activities.  Please take a moment to read below to ensure you are not missing anything.

1. Wednesday May 29 – the Grade 1 choir as well as the Gr 1 students in Rm 11,12,& 21 will be hosting an assembly showing the character trait of FAIRNESS.   Parents are invited to attend.  The assembly will start at 1:30pm and we ask for parents to be here by 1:15 if you are planning to attend. As this is an assembly – ALL STUDENTS should be in FORMAL UNIFORM even though it is a Wednesday.
2. Reminder to register for bussing for next year – this needs to be done each year, even if your children are currently riding the bus.   This needs to be completed by June 16 but strongly recommended to be completed by June 1 and the information can be found on your CBE Account under transportation.
3. SAVE the DATE – please be sure to mark your calendar for the Grade 3 Farewell Assembly on Monday June 17 in the afternoon. Parents are invited to attend this celebration as well.  This is the LAST day for FORMAL UNIFORMS.
4. Reminder to let the school know if your child is not going to be attending LRD next year as we are working diligently on our planning for the 2024/25 school year already.
5. Please be sure to mark your calendars – Ice Cream Social is Wednesday August 28 and the first day of school is Thursday August 29 – please be sure to have returned from all summer holiday places BEFORE the first day of school.
