Dear Parents,

As we are winding down the year, there are a few important information items to share with all of you so please be sure to read the messages below.

  1. If you have accidentally forgotten to send back your child’s bowling permission form, please ensure it is sent back on Monday!  Students who have not brought back their permission form will unfortunately miss out on this fun opportunity.
  2. ALL library books and home reading books are due back to the school on Friday, June 13.   Items not returned will be charged to your child’s school fees account for us to replace the books so please be sure to send everything back to the school.
  3. Bus registration for the 2025-26 school year must be completed online by June 22.
  4. Fun Lunch is on Wednesday, June 18.  If you are interested in having your child participate, please be sure to place your order on Healthy Hunger before midnight on Friday, June 13.  Please note – the Tuesday/Thursday Kindergarten classes should NOT order this fun lunch.
  5. Grade 3 Farewell assembly is on Monday, June 16 at 12:45pm.  Parents are welcome to attend and should be at the school by 12:30 to secure a seat.  Grade 1 choir will also be performing at this assembly.
  6. Casual Days starting June 17 for the rest of the school year.  If you have any gently used uniform items (cardigans, TLC crested golf shirts, tartan dresses, tartan ties) that you would like to donate to our used uniform sale, please wash them and send them to the school before June 20.  All funds raised go towards school council to support paying for field trip buses for all students.
  7. Used Uniform sale is on Monday June 23 between 2:15- 3:00 (or earlier if sold out).  This is a CASH only event where families can purchase a maximum of 5 items.
  8. School Council meeting will be held IN-PERSON on Tuesday June 17 in the school Learning Commons at 6:30pm.  All are welcome to attend.  School Council Executive members, please plan to arrive for 6pm for a preliminary meeting before council begins.
  9. Sport’s Day is June 20!  All students (both Kindie classes should attend this day) will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of outdoor fun sport activities.  There will be a final event where selected students will have an opportunity to dump  a bucket of water on a chosen staff member!   This will be done through a random draw of students.  In order for students to get their name entered into the draw, we are hoping you can bring a toonie to support the “Make a Wish” Foundation.  Each toonie that is brought in, your child’s name will be entered into the draw.  One Toonie = 1 name entry, $10 = 5 name entries etc.  Donations can be sent into the school with your child starting on Monday June 9 and will conclude on Thursday June 19.  Thank you in advance for supporting this amazing organization!
