June 20 updates

Dear Parents

Well we made it – the LAST week of school before summer break is here!

1. 2. Today is the last day to register for bussing!   Please be sure to have registered for bussing through your CBE account to ensure your child is able to access bus stops and rides for next year.
3. Thank you so much for your generosity to Make a Wish Foundation!  We were able to raise over 980.00
4. Reminder to please send in your gently used uniform items that have been outgrown.  We will add them to our uniform sale on Monday June 23 at 2:15pm in the school Learning Commons.  Friendly reminder that this is a CASH only event and that all funds raised go to School Council to help with the cost of buses, special events and fieldtrips for our students.
5. Congratulations to Iuliana Pinzari who won the last volunteer of the month prize for the 2024-2025 school year.  Special thank you to all our volunteers for the year – we could not do the amazing things we do, without your help and commitment.
6. As we head into the last week, please be sure to let us know if you child is leaving early as we need to send everything home.
7. 8. Report Cards will be available on June 25 ONLINE.  Please be sure to PRINT your child’s report card immediately as it will only be available until July 15 for you to view.
9. Wednesday June 25 is the LAST day for Kindergarten students.
10. Thursday June 26 is the LAST day for Grade 1-3 students and it is an early dismissal day (noon dismissal), the same as a Friday.   Please be sure to pick up your child from the school by noon or at the bus stop the same as you would for a Friday schedule.
11. Report Card Appeal – if there is a significant concern that you see on your child’s report card and need clarification, please plan to call the school on Thursday June 26 in the morning to set a time for a phone call from your teacher Thursday afternoon between 1-3pm.  Thank you
12. Save the dates: 

• Teacher letter arriving in your email on Tuesday August 26
• Ice Cream Social is Wednesday August 27 between 11:30 -12:30
• First Day of School is Tuesday September 2 at 8:00am
• School reopens on Wednesday August 27 for parent calls/inquires.

There will be one last message coming to you next Friday before the school closes for the summer. 😊
