Hello Families, 

Please take a moment to read the message below to ensure you are not missing anything that is coming up in the next few weeks. 

1) As the year is ending and we are already planning for next year, please be sure to email the school ( leroidaniels@cbe.ab.ca) to let us know if your child is not going to be attending Le Roi Daniels next year.  This is very important for us to be aware of so we can ensure your child's files are sent to the correct school and to help us in our planning for classes and teachers next year. 

2) If you have not registered for busing for the 2024-25 school year - please be sure to complete that this weekend as bus routes and stops are created based on pre-registered student information.  You can always cancel in the Fall if needed but it can take 6- 8 weeks to be added in the Fall if your child is not pre-registered.

3) ALL library and homereading books MUST be returned to the school by Friday June 14 as we will be doing an inventory of missing items.  In the event that your child has lost or damaged a book, there will be a book fine attached to your school fee account.  Please be sure to check for any outstanding fees as those need to be paid before the end of June. 

4) Fun Lunch is on Thursday June 20 and must be ordered on Healthy Hunger before midnight on Saturday June 15 if you would like your child to participate.  Friendly reminder that we are unable to accept Skip/Door Dash etc on Fun Lunch days so please ensure you order on Healthy Hunger if you want your child to have a fun lunch that day.  M/W Kindergarten should NOT order this fun lunch.  Thank you so much

5) Used uniform sale is on Monday June 24 between 2:15-3:00pm at the school.  If you are able to volunteer for this event, please email lrdchair@gmail.com 

6) Leaving early??  We know that some families will be heading off before the end of June for extended trips over the summer....if you are leaving early, please ensure you have contacted your child's teacher as well as the office.   We will ensure all your child's personal items are sent home before you leave.  Any unclaimed items on June 28, will be disposed of.
