Dear  Parents,

What a beautiful week we have been able to enjoy and with so many activities happening at the school!  Thank you so much to all the parents who were able to come and volunteer for many field trips that occurred this week.  Your support and dedication is truly appreciated.

There are a few updates for you to be aware of:

  1. LAST CHANCE – if you are interested in ordering the yearbook for your child, please be sure to go to your CBE account, to fees, scroll to the bottom of the page to school fees and add the optional fee for yearbook.   All orders must be placed and PAID for by April 30th.  Unfortunately, we will not be able to accept late orders and we will not be purchasing extra books to sell in person.
  2. GRADE 3 parents - Grade 3 students are starting RECORDERS on Monday April 29!   If you were unable to purchase your recorder through the school, it is recommended that students go to LONG & MCQUADE music store (225 58 Ave SE) to purchase one before Monday.  They are less than $10 and this will ensure that your child never needs to share an instrument with anyone else.   In the event that you are unable to purchase your own, the school will provide one to your child to use during class and will be sanitized before the next student needs to use it.  Thank you so much and we look forward the Grade 3’s gaining new instrumental skills.
  3. VOLUNTEER LANYARDS – as we have had many volunteers over the past few weeks, we have noticed a few of our volunteer lanyards are missing.  If you have accidently worn the volunteer tag and lanyard home, please return it to the school ASAP. It can be sent to the school with your child and they can bring it to the office.  Thank you so much.
  4. Be sure to submit your name for the FREE book draw!  Details were sent home yesterday via email.
  5. May is starting this week!  Please be sure to check the May Newsletter [separate News item] and Calendar [view Full Calendar] for all the exciting events happening this month.
