Dear Parents,

We would like to first of all wish you a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend and we would like to thank you for choosing Le Roi Daniels as part of your child’s educational journey.  We truly appreciate each one of these students and enjoy working with them each day.

As staff have been talking and sharing plans and events this weekend, we realize how very fortunate we are in our lives and encourage each of you to take time as family to reflect on what you are thankful for during this weekend.

There are a few updates so please take a moment to read below:

1. Photo orders – we understand there were some glitches with ordering yesterday and therefore, we have requested an extension on the free – shipping order date.   Please be sure to order your photos before Oct 17^th.   Friendly reminder – if you are wanting retakes (or your child was absent), you need to email your child’s teacher by Oct 20^th so they can participate in retake photos on  Oct 23 or 24 (T/Th kindie only).  If the teacher does not receive an email, your child will unfortunately not be able to receive a retake photo.
2. As we have been in school for 6 weeks already, there are many field trips that have either already happened or are coming quickly.  Please be sure to go to your CBE Account, scroll down to school based fees and pay ALL field trip fees associated with your child before Oct 16^th. Thank you so much.
3. Fun Lunch is on Oct 25 and posted on Healthy Hunger.  Please be sure to place your order BEFORE Oct 20 if you are interested in having your child participate.  T/Th Kindergarten should NOT order this fun lunch.
4. Parent Teacher Conferences are coming!! – Please go to your CBE Account, scroll down to “book and manage meeting times” and book a time to meet with your child’s teacher on Oct 19 (eve) or 20 (8-12).  These conferences are all in-person, there is NO online option this year.  Please note that Kindergarten has access to book conferences all day on Oct 19^th as there is no classes for Kindergarten that day.   Conference booking opens on Tuesday Oct 10 at 8am.
