Dear Parents,

As you should have received a notice from CBE last night, our Student - led conferences scheduled for March have been moved to online due to the CUPE strike.

Each family is expected to sign up for a conference time with their teacher for either Mar 20 or 21.  Although we are sad that your children will not be able to show case their learning with you, teachers are still very excited to share how your child is doing so far in this school year.  Conference booking will open on Monday March 10 and close on March 19.  Please be sure to book a time with your child's homeroom teacher.  Once booked, you will receive a confirmation with the online link for the meeting in your email. 

Conferences are scheduled for 15 minute time slots during the following times - it is a first come first serve for the time slots so please be sure to book your preferred time early.

Mar 20:  Kindergarten at 8 - 11am/12 - 3pm/4 - 8pm and Grade 1-3 at 4 - 8pm

Mar 21: All Grades Kindergarten - Grade 3 at 8 - 11am           

PLEASE NOTE - there is NO classes for KINDERGARTEN students on Thursday Mar 20, however Grade 1-3 attend as usual and no classes for students on March 21.       

For those students who are on an IPP (if you don't know what this is - your child is not on one), your child will be bringing their IPP home prior to conferences.  Please sign the last page and return it to the school BEFORE Mar 20.  Teachers will then have a detailed conversation with you during your 1:1 conference time online, however we need the signature pages before spring break.
