Dear Parents, Well, we survived the first week back with LOTS of excitement, extra snow and many reminders of expectations for students. As we head into the last term of school (which is hard to believe we are almost done another school year!), we would like to ask for your help in reminding your children to always demonstrate the amazing character traits we have been working on all year. We will be having an assembly on Monday to also remind students of school bus and playground expectations as many students needed reminders this week. We know “Spring Fever” is in the air and everyone is excited for summer, warm weather and outside play time, however we also need to remember that respect, responsibility and KINDNESS are crucial everyday. Speaking of Kindness, this is the character virtue that we are focusing on this month! The Kindergarten classes are leading the school in some kindness activities with a focus on “being kind to the Earth”. As part of this initiative, we are asking for every student to bring in at least 2 empty bottles (pop, water, juice, etc) by next Friday, April 11. By bringing in these bottles, we are keeping them out of the landfill to help be kind to Earth. Kindergarten teachers will then recycle them and the money raised is going to be used as a donation to the bird sanctuary as a way to show kindness to animals as well as creating some small plants for our local senior’s center to show kindness to people. Thank you for helping with this initiative and working with us to teach and show kindness everyday 😊 YEARBOOK ORDERS – This is a friendly reminder to order your yearbook! If you are interested in having a book for your child to remember all the amazing events, activities and friends for the 2024-2025 school year, please be sure to place your order and pay for the book on your CBE school account under the fees tab. The last day to place your order will be April 24 and unfortunately there will be no late orders accepted. If you are unsure if you already purchased a book, please check your payment history so you don’t actually order a second one 😊. Thank you so much.
