Dear Parents,

The weather has definitely improved over the course of the week and we are looking forward to the warmer climate continuing into next week.     It is a very busy for us at the school in the coming weeks so please be sure to check your calendars, emails and Google Classrooms to ensure you have not missed anything.

1. There are many in school fieldtrips and activities happening next week for Kindergarten, Grade 1 and Grade 2.   We need volunteers!! Please check your child’s Google Classroom to see dates and times for volunteering.  If you have your police clearance and are able to help with those times, please email your child’s teacher ASAP.  We cannot run these amazing opportunities without your help. Thank you so much J
2. If you did not get a chance to complete the planning survey last Friday, please take a few minutes to complete it and provide your feedback as we start planning for next year.

1. Student-let conferences are coming on March 21!  Please take a minute to book your conference time on your School Engage CBE Account starting on Monday March 11.  Students should be attending these conferences to showcase their learning for you and will take up to 60 minutes to complete.  Details regarding this conference process can be found in our March newsletter on the website.
2. Used book sale – thank you to all those who have brought in used books for our sale on March 21 during conferences.   If you have not had a chance to send yours in, you still have time!   We will be accepting used book donations until noon on March 21.
3. Friday March 15 is a casual day for St. Patrick’s Day.  Students are encouraged to wear GREEN on Friday and watch out for those sneaky leprechauns. J  
4. Lion King performance ticket forms are coming home on Monday.  It is important that there is 1 form/family and seats are assigned on a first come- first serve basis.  Please be sure to send in your cash or cheque (made out to Le Roi Daniels) with your ticket order forms. 
5. Fun Lunch is on Wednesday March 20 - if you are interested in participating, please be sure to place your order before midnight on Friday March 15.  Reminder that T/Th Kindie students should NOT order this lunch.
6. Friendly reminder to change your clocks this weekend, we want to make sure no one is late for school on Monday! J​​​​​​​
