Dear Parents,

Thank you so much to all of you who were able to come and celebrate your child’s learning during Student-led conferences.  It is always great to see all of you parents here at the school!

We would also like to thank those parents who completed the school planning survey for us.  As promised, the pertinent results are shared below for your reference.  We will use these results and suggestions as we make our plans for next year.

Schools must operate within their budget and too many fees can be unmanageable for families. Knowing that, please rank the following activities and services in order of importance to you.

1st : Field Trips

2nd : Transportation for field trips

3rd : Curricular enhancements/supplies (PE equipment)

School Activities benefit the learning of our students – 77% Strongly Agree

School Fees are reasonable considering the activities involved – 74% Strongly Agree

School Council Funds from ATA – 53% would like to have a book draw

Participation in School Council Events:

• Family Movie Night – 71% yes
• Family Dance – 66%
• Family Cultural Evening – 58%

As we are heading into Spring Break, we want to remind you that our first day back to school is TUESDAY APRIL 2.  We will be sending out the April Newsletter and Calendar on Friday March 29th so please be sure to look at all the amazing things that are happening at the school in April. This includes important details about our LION KING performance on April 18th.

We hope that everyone has a wonderful break, enjoys some time as a family and comes back to school rested, relaxed and ready for our final months of learning for this school year.
